- Raster : Multispectral : Enhancement : General Contrast =>
Piecewise Contrast ==> Breakpoints => Adjust Break
points and Apply
Filtering using Convolution
- Raste : Resolution : Spatial => Convolution
- under Input File, enter lanier.img
- Under Output File, enter convolve.img
- From the scrolling list under Kernel, click
3x3 Edge Detect.
- Click the Edit button, then Close
- Click OK
- Open lanier.img and colvolve.img, and
then display two views
Apply Crisp
- Raste : Resolution : Spatial => Crisp
- Under Input File in the Crisp dialog, enter panAtlanta.img.
- Under Output File, enter crisp.img
- turn on the Stretch to Unsigned 8 bit checkbox
by clicking on it.
- Click the View button ( lets you view the graphical
model behind each function. )
- Click OK
- Display panAtlanta.img and crisp.img
on the separate viewer and compare.
